Is, Am, Are Worksheet For Class 3

The verb be has three forms in the present tense. They are is, am and are. Can you use these auxiliaries correctly? Test your understanding with this is, am, are worksheet for class 3.

Tips

Use is when the subject is a singular noun or pronoun. A singular noun denotes just one person or thing. Example: child, book, pen, house, dog and student.

Use are when the subject is a plural noun or pronoun. A plural noun denotes more than one person or thing. Examples: children, books, pens, houses, dogs and students.

Use am when the subject is the first person pronoun I.
