Use an acceptance letter for accepting a job, resignation, gift, invitation or honor. The tone of an acceptance letter can be formal or informal depending upon the nature of relationship you have with the recipient. Here are a few tips for writing a good acceptance letter.

Be gracious while accepting a job offer, an honour or an invitation. At the beginning of the letter itself, thank the person or organization for giving you the opportunity. Maintain a positive tone if you are accepting a resignation.

Nonetheless we respect your decision to leave and wish you all the best in your new job. We also appreciate your giving us sufficient notice in time to find a competent replacement.
