Simple Present Tense Worksheet For Class 4

Complete the following sentences with the simple present tense form of the verb given in the brackets.

Notes

When the subject is a singular noun or pronoun, the verb takes the marker –s or –es in the simple present tense.

When the subject is the first person singular I or the second person singular you, the verb does not take –s.

Examples:

  • I brush my teeth.
  • He brushes his teeth.
  • Suman brushes her teeth.
  • You brush your teeth.
  • I eat breakfast at 9 am.
  • He eats breakfast at 9 am.
  • Rani eats breakfast at 9 am.
  • You eat your breakfast.
