(= I went to that place yesterday.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u2018Here\u2019 is the opposite of \u2018there\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Come <strong>here<\/strong>. (= Come to this place.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>There<\/strong> can also be used as an introductory subject.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There is a hole in my socks.<\/li>\n<li>There are some men outside.<\/li>\n<li>Is there water on the moon?<\/li>\n<li>There are some apples in the fridge.<\/li>\n<li>There was nobody at home.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Their<\/strong> is a possessive word like<strong> my, your or his. <\/strong>It goes before a noun.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I have never been to <strong>their house.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Their children are very smart.<\/li>\n<li>Their story touched my heart.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These words are often confused.
