You can have tea. You can have coffee. (You can\u2019t have both.)<\/p>\n<p>2. I will wait here. You come.<\/p>\n<p>3. This is the house. He lives here.<\/p>\n<p>4. You quit smoking. Your health will improve.<\/p>\n<p>5. You invite her. She will not come.<\/p>\n<p>6. He was hungry. He ate a banana.<\/p>\n<p>7. The lights went out. I was reading.<\/p>\n<p>8. I injured my knee. I was playing football.<\/p>\n<p>9. You ask more politely. She will help you.<\/p>\n<h3>Answers<\/h3>\n<p>1. You can have tea <strong>or<\/strong> coffee.<\/p>\n<p>2. I will wait here <strong>till \/ until<\/strong> you come. (Till and until are interchangeable. Till is less formal than until.)<\/p>\n<p>3. This is the house<strong> where<\/strong> he lives. (Where is actually a relative adverb. When we use it to connect clauses, it replaces words like here and there.)<\/p>\n<p>4. <strong>If<\/strong> you quit smoking, your health will improve.<\/p>\n<p>5. <strong>Unless<\/strong> you invite her she will not come.<\/p>\n<p>6. He was hungry <strong>so<\/strong> he ate a banana.<\/p>\n<p>7. The lights went out <strong>when<\/strong> I was reading.<\/p>\n<p>8.
