(Propose a plan.)<\/li><li>He is a handsome fellow, but what about his character? (Seeks an opinion.)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About and On<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>About and on can both mean in connection with. However, there is a slight difference between them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Compare:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This is a book <strong>on African history.<\/strong><\/li><li>This is a book for children <strong>about the festivals of India.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On<\/strong> used in the first sentence suggests that the book is serious or academic. It fits specialists. About used in the second sentence suggests that the book only gives some information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This is a movie <strong>on<\/strong> the life of Gautam Buddha. (A serious work on his life)<\/li><li>This is a movie <strong>about<\/strong> Gautam Buddha.
