There is little difference of meaning. Note that these two words are used in different structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Every<\/strong> is used with singular countable nouns. To give the same meaning, <strong>all<\/strong> is used with plural nouns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>All children<\/strong> need love.<\/li><li><strong>Every child needs<\/strong> love.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">With Determiners<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All<\/strong> can be used with determiners.<strong> Every<\/strong> cannot normally be used with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>All the lights were out.<\/li><li>Every light was out. (NOT Every the light &#8212;)<\/li><li>I have invited all (of) my friends.<\/li><li>I have invited every friend I have. (NOT &#8212; every my friend.)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">With Uncountable Nouns<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We can use <strong>all<\/strong> with uncountable nouns. <strong>Every<\/strong> cannot be used with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I like all music.
