Have you got a smaller size?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fit can also mean suitable or good enough.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Is this dress fit to wear?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If a person is fit, he \/ she is in good health.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A sportsman must be fit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Suit<\/strong> refers to style, colour etc. If something suits you, it is convenient or appropriate for you.<\/p>\n<p>Compare:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This hat doesn\u2019t fit me. (= It is either big or small for me.)<\/li>\n<li>This hat doesn\u2019t suit me. (= This hat isn\u2019t appropriate for my sense of style.)<\/li>\n<li>Bright colours don\u2019t suit me well. (= NOT Bright colours don\u2019t fit me well.)<\/li>\n<li>The cold climate in Kashmir doesn\u2019t suit me. (= The cold climate in Kashmir isn\u2019t good for me.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Suit can also be used to say whether arrangements are convenient.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Will Tuesday suit you?
