OR <b>Perhaps<\/b> you are right.<\/li>\n<li><b>Maybe<\/b> she will come. OR <b>Perhaps<\/b> she will come.<\/li>\n<li><b>Maybe<\/b> we will win. OR <b>Perhaps<\/b> we will win.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note that <b>maybe<\/b> is mainly used in informal contexts. In a more formal style, we use <b>perhaps<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h2>Maybe and may be<\/h2>\n<p><b>May be<\/b> means more or less the same as <i>could be<\/i>. Note that this expression is a verb. <b>Maybe<\/b>, on the other hand, is an adverb.<\/p>\n<p><b>Maybe <\/b>can go at the beginning of the sentence. <b>May be<\/b> always goes after the subject. When you use <b>maybe<\/b>, the sentence will have another verb.<\/p>\n<p>Examples are given below.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>She <b>may be<\/b> interested in the offer.
