Each of them has different forms.<\/p>\n<h3>Be<\/h3>\n<p>The auxiliary\u00a0<b>be<\/b>\u00a0has five forms:<b>\u00a0is, am, are, was<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<b>were<\/b>.\u00a0<b>Be<\/b>\u00a0also has a\u00a0<b>present participle (being)<\/b>\u00a0and a\u00a0<b>past participle (been)<\/b>\u00a0form.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>I am\u00a0<\/b>writing a novel.<\/li>\n<li><b>He is<\/b>\u00a0working on a project.<\/li>\n<li><b>They are\u00a0<\/b>playing in the garden.<\/li>\n<li><b>We were<\/b>\u00a0waiting for the bus.<\/li>\n<li><b>He was<\/b>\u00a0waiting for her.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Do<\/h3>\n<p><b>Do<\/b>\u00a0has three forms:\u00a0<b>do, does<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<b>did.\u00a0<\/b>The forms\u00a0<b>do<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<b>does<\/b>\u00a0are used to make questions and\u00a0negative sentences\u00a0in the\u00a0simple present tense.\u00a0<b>Do<\/b>\u00a0is used with plural nouns and pronouns.\u00a0<b>Does<\/b>\u00a0is used with singular nouns and pronouns.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>He<b>\u00a0does not<\/b>\u00a0believe in ghosts.<\/li>\n<li>I\u00a0<b>do not want<\/b>\u00a0to go.<\/li>\n<li><b>Does he want<\/b>\u00a0to go?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Did<\/b>\u00a0is used to make questions and negative sentences in the\u00a0simple past tense. Note that after do, does and did, we use the\u00a0infinitive without to.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>He\u00a0<b>did not go<\/b>. (NOT He did not went.)
