It goes before the adjective\/adverb modified by it. We often put a<a href=\"https:\/\/perfectyourenglish.com\/grammar\/to-infinitives.htm\"> to-infinitive<\/a> after too + adjective \/ adverb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>She is <strong>too<\/strong> proud <strong>to apologize<\/strong>.<\/li><li>It is <strong>too<\/strong> early <strong>to predict<\/strong> the winner now.<\/li><li>I was <strong>too<\/strong> anxious <strong>to sit<\/strong> still.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes, the infinitive has a subject of its own. This is introduced by<strong> &#8216;for + noun\/pronoun&#8217;.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The task is very difficult. I cannot complete it.<\/li><li>The task is <strong>too difficult for me to complete<\/strong>.  <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Combine the following sentences using too&#8230;to&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>She is very polite.
