(Question)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When the given statement is in the <a href=\"https:\/\/perfectyourenglish.com\/blog\/simple-present-tense-form-and-uses\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"74385\">simple present tense<\/a>, we make questions with <strong>do<\/strong> and <strong>does.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>She lives here. (Statement)<\/li><li>Does she live here? (Question)<\/li><li>They work very hard. (Statement)<\/li><li>Do they work hard? (Question)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We use <strong>do<\/strong> when the subject is a plural noun or pronoun. We use <strong>does<\/strong> when the subject is a singular noun or pronoun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/perfectyourenglish.com\/blog\/simple-past-tense\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"74379\">simple past tense<\/a>, we make questions with <strong>did.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>She passed the test.
