(<b>NOT\u00a0<\/b>He is having gone to the school.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Have as an ordinary verb<\/h3>\n<p>As an ordinary verb, <strong>have<\/strong> is used to talk about states: possession, relationships, illnesses, personal characteristics and similar ideas.<\/p>\n<ul type=\"square\">\n<li>We\u00a0<b>have\u00a0<\/b>a big house in the city. (Possession)<\/li>\n<li>I\u00a0<b>have\u00a0<\/b>two children. (Relations)<\/li>\n<li>The applicant must\u00a0<b>have\u00a0<\/b>a good personality. (Personal characteristics)<\/li>\n<li>She\u00a0<b>has\u00a0<\/b>a nice temper. (Personal characteristics)<\/li>\n<li>I\u00a0<b>have\u00a0<\/b>a bad headache. (Illnesses)<\/li>\n<li>He\u00a0<b>has\u00a0<\/b>plenty of money, but no manners.
