(Here the adjective clever goes after the verb be and describes the subject he.)<\/li><li>They are rich. <\/li><li>He is kind.<\/li><li>The night grew dark.<\/li><li>She looked unhappy.<\/li><li>The soup tasted delicious. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Some adjectives can only go in the predicative position.
