There are mainly four\u00a0kinds of sentences<\/a>\u00a0in English: Assertive (or declarative), interrogative, imperative and exclamatory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A declarative and an imperative sentence always end with a full stop. An exclamatory sentence has an exclamation mark at the end and an interrogative sentence has a question mark. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
