A non-finite verb does not change its form when there is a change in the number or person of the subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Study the examples given below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I want to sing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He wants to sing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They want to sing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>She wanted to sing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can see that the form of the verb <strong>want<\/strong> changes when there is a change in the number or person of the subject. <strong>Want<\/strong> becomes <strong>wants<\/strong> when the subject is a singular pronoun. In the past tense, <strong>want<\/strong> becomes <strong>wanted<\/strong>. Such verbs whose forms change according to the tense or the number (singular and plural) and person (first person, second person, third person) of the subject are finite verbs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Non-finite verbs<\/strong> do not undergo any change when there is a change in the subject or tense.
