When we talk about two finished events in the past, we use the past perfect<\/a> for the earlier of the two actions and the simple past for the latter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complete the following sentences correctly by using the simple past <\/a>and the past perfect forms of the given verbs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
