They express ideas such as ability, inability, willingness, obligation, probability etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Modals are used before the infinitives of other verbs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I <strong>will come. <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You <strong>should wait<\/strong> outside.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Modal verbs have no <strong>-s <\/strong>when the subject is a singular noun or pronoun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>She <strong>may come<\/strong>.
