(Here the adjective cute says something about the noun baby and goes before it.)<\/li><li>She is a <strong>kind <\/strong>woman. (Here the adjective kind says something about the noun woman.)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Numbers and the names of colours are adjectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I have <strong>sixteen<\/strong> cats.<\/li><li>She was wearing a <strong>blue <\/strong>frock.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Adjectives can also go after the verb <strong>be<\/strong>. Note that <strong>be <\/strong>has different forms. Examples are: <strong>is, am, are, was and were.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>He is <strong>intelligent<\/strong>. Here the adjective intelligent goes after is and says something about he.<\/li><li>They are <strong>ignorant<\/strong>.
