(Affirmative)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If the negative sentence is in the <a href=\"https:\/\/perfectyourenglish.com\/blog\/simple-present-tense-form-and-uses\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"74385\">simple present<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/perfectyourenglish.com\/blog\/simple-past-tense\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"74379\">simple past tense<\/a>, we have to remove the <a href=\"https:\/\/perfectyourenglish.com\/blog\/modal-auxiliary-verbs\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"74016\">auxiliary verb<\/a> as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>She <strong>does not know <\/strong>the answer. (Negative)<\/li><li>They <strong>recognised <\/strong>each other. (Affirmative)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Did not recognise becomes recognised in the affirmative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Change the following negative sentences to affirmative sentences.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>1.
