In type 2 conditional, we use a <strong>simple past tense<\/strong> in the if-clause and <strong>would \/ could \/ might + infinitive<\/strong> in the main clause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If I<strong> studied<\/strong> hard, I <strong>would get<\/strong> the first rank.
