Primary Auxiliary Verbs | B1 – B2 Grammar
There are three types of primary auxiliaries. They are:
- Be – is, am, are, was, were
- Have – has, have, had
- Do – do, does and did
Primary auxiliaries are used with the present participle (ing form) and the past participle of other verbs to form continuous and perfect tense forms.
