Adverbs of Manner Worksheet

Adverbs of manner answer the question how. Common examples are: kindly, slowly, happily, easily, reluctantly, pleasantly, honestly, generally, generously, cleverly, eagerly, softly and carefully.

Most adverbs of manner end in –ly. There are, however, some exceptions. For example, hard and fast and adverbs of manner.
