      She was crowned queen is the passive form of They crowned her queen. Here crowned is transitive and its object is her.
      Lived is intransitive in the second sentence. Lived, died, slept, sat, jumped, ran, swam are all intransitives.

    • In Question number 12, Gods is the object of the preposition in. It is not the object of the verb.
      In Question number 14, him is the object of the preposition for.
      In Question number 15, the object is missing. Here the queen is the subject complement. It is not the object. In the active form, this sentence will read ‘They crowned her the queen.’ In this case, crowned is transitive and has the object her.
