The verbs believe, prefer, know, feel, sound, like, dislike, love, hate, realize, understand, hear, taste, smell, want, see, agree, own and depend are not normally used in the continuous form.

Fill in the blanks with the appropriate form of the verb.

Use the present perfect tense to talk about a period of time up to now. It is commonly used with the time expressions since and for.

Use the simple past when we say when something happened.
