Kinds Of Adverbs Worksheet For Class 4

Adverbs are words like kindly, surely, pleasantly, carefully, outside, inside, yesterday and tomorrow.
Most adverbs ending in –ly indicate the manner in which something is done. These are called adverbs of manner. 

Words which indicate place are adverbs of place. Examples: in, out, over, above, up, down, inside, outside, upstairs, downstairs etc.

Likewise, words which indicate time are called adverbs of time. Examples are: now, then, soon, tomorrow etc.

Underline the adverbs in the following sentences and state their kind.
