3. My hair is black and curly.

4. My hair is curly but my sister’s hair is straight.

5. My father and my mother are teachers.

6. Raju is clever and hard working.

7. Raju is very friendly but his brother is reserved.

8. He took out his pen and started writing.

9. She got dressed and went to work.

10. Rohan and Sania like ice-cream.

11. The shoes are old and dirty.

12. She was tired and angry.

13. Ravi and his brother want to become architects.

14. Suma wants to become a writer but her sister wants to become a singer.

Notes

When we connect two singular subjects with ‘and’, we need a plural verb.

Study the example given below.

Rahul likes to watch movies.

Priya likes to watch movies.

Rahul and Priya like to watch movies. (NOT Rahul and Priya likes…)
