Model answer
A Walk In The Mountains
A father took his son to a walk in the mountains. The boy was not used to walking on the uneven surface, and soon enough his feet slipped and he fell on to the ground. He was hurt and let out a big cry, “AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!”
To his surprise, he heard the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain: “AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!”
Somebody must be in the hills and he is mimicking me, the boy thought. He wasn’t pleased. Curious, he yelled, “Who are you?” Pat came the reply, “Who are you?”
The boy was angered at the response. He screamed, “You, coward! Stop it!”
Much to his dismay he received the answer: “You, coward! Stop it!”
He felt helpless and looked at his father, “Dad, you must punish him.”
“For what?” his father asked. “He is calling me names,” the boy replied.
“You were the first to call him names, right?” his father asked. The boy had no answer.
“My son, now pay attention,” his father said, “I will show you what is going on.”
He them screamed to the mountain, “I admire you!”
The voice answered, “I admire you!”
Again the man screamed, “You are wonderful!”
The voice answered, “You are wonderful!”
The boy was surprised, but he did not understand anything.
Then the father explained, “People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE.
It gives you back everything you say or do.
Our life is simply a reflection of our actions. If you want respect, give respect. If you want love, give love. If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence. This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life;
Life will give you back everything you have given to it.”
