Determiners | Some, Any, No, None Worksheet

Fill in the blanks with some, any, none or no. This determiners worksheet is helpful for students of classes 9 and 10 and also for students preparing for Cambridge First Certificate in English.

Grammar rules

Use some in affirmative sentences. If it is followed by a plural noun, the verb should be plural. If it is followed by an uncountable noun, the verb should be singular.

Use any in questions and negatives. If it is followed by a plural noun, the verb should be plural. If it is followed by an uncountable noun, the verb should be singular.

None is usually followed by a singular verb.

2. You can use ………………………. vegetable oil to cook this dish. (some / any)

3. ……………………… of my friends smokes. (no / none)

4. I didn’t receive ……………………… help from them. (some / any)
