Present Perfect Or Past Tense | Class 8 English Grammar Worksheets

Complete the following sentences using appropriate present perfect or past tense forms.

Notes

Both present perfect and simple past are used to talk about finished events. Note that the present perfect is not used when we say when something happened. It cannot be used with definite past time adverbs.

Notes

The Present perfect tense is used in the subordinate clause only when the verb in the principal clause is either in the present or future tense – not in the past tense.
