The cavity is killing me! | Sample English conversation

Storyline: Rohit has just had a truth extracted.

Kashmeera: Hi Rohit, what happened to your face? It looks swollen.

Rohit: Well, I’ve just got a tooth extracted.

Kashmeera: Did it hurt?

Rohit: Not really. The dentist gave me an injection to numb the area. I still felt some pressure while he pulled the tooth out, but there was no pain.

Kashmeera: How long were you in the chair?

Rohit: It took a while. But it wasn’t as bad as I’d expected.

Kashmeera: I’m sort of relieved now. I need to get a tooth extracted. The cavity is killing me.

Rohit: I can understand. You can’t stand toothache. It’s simply the worst.
