Cover Letter Writing Tips
A cover letter is one that is sent along with your CV when you are applying for a job. Here is a brief outline that you may use for drafting a cover letter.
Opening paragraph
In the opening paragraph of your cover letter you must include some brief information about yourself and the position you are applying for. You must also state how you found out about the job.
Paragraph 2
In the second paragraph, state why you are interested in the position and what qualities or personal traits that you may have make you a suitable candidate for the job. Mention your academic qualifications and work experience.
Paragraph 3
In the third paragraph, inform them that you have included your current CV. You may also add any relevant information that is likely to improve your chances of getting the job.
Closing paragraph
In the closing paragraph, clearly state when you will be available for the interview. Thank them for considering your application and close the letter.
