Dear Recipient Name:
I am writing to inform you that we have taken the decision to remove you from our employment. You should know the reason - on several occasions you had been caught stealing money and tools from the office. Your supervisor issued a strict warning the first time that you were caught committing the offence, but you chose to ignore it. Since we do not want employees with such criminal tendencies on our payroll, we have decided to terminate your job contract with immediate effect. You will receive no severance pay, and we cannot recommend you to another employer.
Although we are not taking any legal action against you, you must understand that we have on file the testimonies of several employees who were witnesses to your thefts. Should the occasion arise, they would be happy to testify against you in court.
In spite of the fact that your employment with us did not end on a positive note, we wish you all the best.
Yours sincerely,
