How to write an application letter
While writing an application letter, you must make it clear what you are applying for. If you are applying for a job opening, state it specifically.
Keep your application letter short and to the point. Explain why you think you qualify for the position. Highlight your plus points. For example, if you are applying for a job, you must write about your experience, educational qualifications or accomplishments and positive traits that might make you a suitable candidate.
In your application letter, you must clearly state what you want to accomplish by sending the letter and what action you expect your reader to make.
Your application letter may be accompanied by other documents such as your resume or letter(s) of recommendation. Dont forget to make a reference to them in your letter.
Give your contact information such as email address or phone number. Your reader should be able to contact you without any difficulty.
Close the letter by thanking the person for his or her time and assistance.
